As most of you know, 2D is new to me, and as a programmer, it's a very different beast to tackle. For instance, I never really thought that in order to simulate a camera in 2D you had to practically scroll the entire level and everything in it across the screen...it required very different math then a 3D game would. It also required a great  deal more planning then any 3D game I've ever done before.

When working with 3D, your usually at home, as you live in a 3D environment so you are used to how it works. 2D however, requires a great deal more thought to be put into it, or, at least it did for me. Do I think I'll be more at home working on my second 2D game? Absolutely, but I'll have this game under my belt.

With all of that said, I think [Codename:Icarus] has been more then fun, it has been a great learning tool as well as a great opportunity to work with my creativity to create a captivating storyline, which for me has always been the most fun.

Thanks for reading,
